Are you our new QA-advisor?

Are you eager to strengthen our quality assurance group in the HSEQ team in Trondheim?

The ideal candidate has a few years of experience supporting offshore operations or from working closely with key stakeholders in the offshore industry.  

You will be member of the wider HSEQ function of Altera supporting and promoting safe working practices in complex and high-risk environments.  

The work is varied with a mix of back-office support maintaining the management framework and hands on assurance activities. You will be engaged with engineering contractors, suppliers, yards, offshore visits to our installations as well as our exciting operations and projects in Abidjan, Aberdeen, Rio de Janeiro and Dubai.  

Some of the things you will be doing

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our management system. 
  
• Plan, perform and follow-up assurance activities to monitor compliance with the management system.  
  
• Support our operations in compliance related issues towards regulators, class and flag. 
  
• Support our projects establishing the operational framework. 
  
• Monitor and analyse audit and investigation findings as well as other quality indicators in the various tools we use like Synergi and Pims. 
  
• Facilitate the certification process of the management system as well as any external audits. 
  
• Perform QA checks on new or updated procedures. 
  
• Drive continuous improvement processes and develop assurance systematics. 
  
• Collaborate closely with the regional HSEQ functions. 

What we are looking for.

• - An engineering degree equivalent to BSc or MSc with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably from oil and gas.
  
  - Qualification and experience as Lead Auditor
  
  - The ideal candidate is familiar with quality standards, Flag, Class and Shelf State regulations.
  
  - Someone unafraid to speak up and challenge established truths. 
  
  - A strong, flexible and proactive team player with good communication skills. 
  
  - Strong English written and verbal communication skills, plus ideally a working knowledge of Norwegian - and either Portuguese or French.
