As a Northern Lights Driver and Guide, you will take guests to see the amazing lights and share you knowledge about them. You will ensure the guests have fun, safe experience in a friendly atmosphere. If you enjoy working outdoors and meeting people from around the world, this job is perfect!

Hva vi ser etter

• Experienced driving, especially in winter, with a valid driver's license: (Class D1) with a clean driving record, YSK, kjøreseddel - required

• Knowledge of the Tromsø area and popular Northern Lights viewing spots.

• Friendly and enjoy talking to guests from different backgrounds, you keep a positive attitude and can handle challenges with a sense of humor

• Good communication skills in English (other languages like German, French, Spanish, Manadring is a plus)

• Previous experience in guiding, hospitality, or tourism is a plus, but not required

• Willingness working in the evening during the Northern Lights season (October-March)

• Supportive of colleagues and enjoy working in a team

• Positive attitude, patience, and variety of skills to handle different situations.

• Drive the guests to the best locations for viewing the Northern Lights

• Share your knowledge about Northern Lights, local culture, and nature to the guests

• Keep guests safe and comfortable during the tour

• Help guests take photos and give tips for getting great pictures

• Checking the weather and Aurora forecast to ensure of successful tour

• Work with the team

• Take care of equipment and vehicles to keep them in good shape
