Arctic Campers AS is looking for new team members to join our Tromsø rental station as Rental Station Agents.
We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic individuals for full-time positions at our rental station on Kvaløya in Tromsø. As a Rental Station Agent, you will handle both pre-hire preparation of camper vans and post-rental checkouts, including damage assessments. Additional responsibilities will include customer service and support, basic maintenance and repairs, office and computer tasks, and other general duties.
This role is rewarding yet physically demanding, so we're looking for candidates who can work efficiently, adapt quickly, and complete tasks independently with minimal supervision.
Your responsibilities as a Rental Station Agent will include:
• Handing over camper vans to guests
• Providing customer care and support
• Managing digital fleet and bookings
• Performing basic maintenance on camper vans
• Checking and preparing vans before and after rentals
• Occasionally driving and relocating campers/cars
• Conducting in-shop customer sales and maintaining shop stock
• Assisting with cleaning during busy periods
• Flexibly managing workloads as needed
Requirements for the position:
• Fluent English (mandatory)
• Driver's license B minimum (BE preferred)
• Background in hospitality and/or tourism (preferred)
• Customer service experience
• Basic technical understanding of vehicles
• Proficiency in standard office software
• Self-driven and capable of independent work
• Willing to learn with a proactive, "can-do" attitude
• Flexibility with working hours
• Physically fit and capable of demanding tasks
• Preference for candidates interested in a long-term role
