We are looking for our next Sourcing- & Contract Specialist for our office in Trondheim, Norway.
Altera Infrastructure specialises in designing, providing and operating floating production, storage and offloading units (FPSOs) to extract hydrocarbons in deep water and harsh weather conditions. We have more than 50 years of experience as an independent FPSO operator and deliver large, technically-complex major projects in the global offshore energy industry.

Then you might be the Sourcing- & Contract Specialist we are looking for.
Some of the things you will be doing
- Manage contracting and strategic procurement initiatives for our vessels and offices.
- Develop tender packages, lead tender processes, facilitate, and perform commercial evaluation of bids and negotiations with suppliers.
- Carry out spend analysis, identify opportunities, and maximize value from supplier spend.
- Develop and drive sourcing- and contract strategies.
- Establish contracts according to procurement plan and business need, ensuring compliance to Altera policies.
- Liaise with technical expertise and facilitate definition of the scope of work and technical clarifications.
- Provide guidance to stakeholders, ensuring established procurement processes are followed.
- Handle warranties and contractual disputes with suppliers, and liaise with legal department as required.
- Manage supplier contract compliance, change requests, cost escalations etc.
- Drive implementation of assigned contracts, and issue initial PO to cover contracted commitments.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor degree or other relevant education or business qualification in Supply Chain, Business. Administration or Contract Law.
- Minimum 3 years experience with contracting and procurement, preferably from the offshore industry.
- Experience within contracting and handling of disputes.
- Strong understanding of commercial risk management.
- Fluent in English, both oral and written, Norwegian is an advantage.
