Comfort Hotel Porsgrunn has 134 hotelrooms, and 7 conference rooms. You and your team are the first people our guests meet in the morning, and we all know a good day starts with a good breakfast. With great power comes great responsibility. The team will also be responsible for Comfort Deli, Conference lunches and dinners on requests at the hotel.

As the Kitchen Manager of Comfort Hotel Porsgrunn, you're managing a team of 5-6people. The working hours are mostly daytime, but some afternoons, evenings and weekends you have to be prepared for. From a really early bird to prepare breakfast to late evenings. Flexibility is a key word.

Your to-do-list as a Comfort Kitchen Manager:

• Welcome guests with a friendly, no-nonsense approach, setting the tone for a great day
• Prepare and cook breakfast according to the Comfort Breakfast Manual
• Prepare and cook lunches and dinners for conference guests
• Keep the restaurant clean and tidy, buzzing with energy and positivity, working closely with colleagues to maintain Comfort’s effortless, urban vibe
• Support your team with everything they need to do all of the above - always following the Comfort rules and keeping our guest promise
• Food safety, inventory management, purchase and supplier loyalty, food waste management, budget control and keeping a balanced scoreboard to make sure the department runs profitably and sustainable
• Bring sustainability into everything we do, helping us be a responsible player
• To be a part of the hotels strategic management team and contribute to reach our common goals

As a Manager at Comfort Hotel, you need to be proficient in both English and Norwegian.
