Are you ready for a winter adventure beneath the Northern Lights?

Aurora Wonderland Basecamp is looking for 4 new team members to join us for the 2025-2026 winter season!

📍 About Us:

Located in Nord-Lenangen (Lyngen) , surrounded by majestic fjords and the stunning Lyngen Alps, Aurora Wonderland offers unique Arctic experiences. Our guests enjoy snowmobile safaris, snowshoeing, and the magical Aurora Crystal Lavvo overnight stay -- with front-row seats to the Northern Lights.

💼 What You'll Do:

We're looking for people who enjoy a varied workday, both indoors and outdoors. Tasks include:

• Welcoming and assisting guests (e.g., helping them dress, serving coffee/tea)

• Cleaning and housekeeping (lavvo units, laundry, etc.)

• Preparing simple meals in our kitchen

• Driving (if licensed)

• Participating in activities like snowshoeing/ snowmobiling

• General help around the camp (e.g., snow clearing, logistics)

✅ What We're Looking For:

• Fluent in English

• Class B driver's license and comfortable driving in winter (a big plus!)

• Happy working outdoors in cold weather

• Positive attitude and a team player

• Passionate about Arctic nature and rural life

• Able to follow guidelines and adapt as needed

• Comfortable with cleaning, changing sheets, folding laundry

• Physically fit and ready for active workdays

• Willing to work during Christmas and peak season

• Interested in short-term team-based living at the basecamp

• A willingness to learn and help wherever needed

🌟 Bonus Skills (Nice to Have, Not Required):

• Other languages: Spanish, French, Italian, Mandarin, German

• Experience with hiking, snowshoeing, or cross-country skiing

• Background in tourism, hospitality, or customer service

• Cooking/cleaning/hosting experience

• Photography skills

📌 Open Positions:

Position 1: Kitchen & Hosting (Nov 1--Mar 31)

• Preparing simple meals (for example, Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes)

• Cleaning, housekeeping, hosting guests, providing basic information

• General tasks around the basecamp, as mentioned above

Position 2: Driver & Outdoor Guide (Nov 1--Mar 31)

• Transporting guests from the ferry to basecamp

• Snowshoe guiding (approx. 2 km tours)

• Cleaning, housekeeping, hosting guests, providing basic information

• Assisting snowmobiling tours

• General tasks around the basecamp, as mentioned above

Position 3: Kitchen & Hosting (Dec 21--Mar 31)

• Same tasks as Position 1

Position 4: Driver & Outdoor Guide (Dec 21--Mar 31)

• Same tasks as Position 2
